What are commonly used pipe fittings by purpose?
Flange: The component that connects pipes to each other, used for connecting pipe ends, and also used as a flange on equipment inlet and outlet.
(Classification: Integral flange, threaded flange, plate type flat welding flange, neck welded flange, flange cover)
Flexible joint: also known as oil joint, with a three-dimensional polygonal design and a three-dimensional thread engraved on the inner layer. The connection form is a fixed joint and a flexible female joint used together.
Pipe clamp: A commonly used accessory in industrial pipeline connections, used to connect two short pipes.
(Classification: threaded connection, welding, fusion, carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel)
Ferrule: One of the three parts of a ferrule type pipe joint (ferrule, nut, seamless steel pipe), where the inner edge of the ferrule evenly cuts into the seamless steel pipe to form an effective seal.
Hoops: Widely used for various types of water, oil, gas, dust, etc. in automobiles, tractors, forklifts, locomotives, ships, mines, petroleum, pharmaceuticals, etc. They are ideal connecting fasteners.
Gaskets: Materials placed between two flat surfaces to enhance sealing, and sealing elements set between static sealing surfaces to prevent fluid leakage.
Tee: Tee refers to pipe fittings and pipeline connectors. Also known as a pipe fitting tee or tee fitting, a tee joint is used where the main pipeline needs to branch.
Cross joint: used to connect four pipes with the same nominal diameter and form a vertical intersection.
Pipe plug: installed on the internal thread of the pipe end.
Head: Head is a type of boiler component in pressure vessels, usually used at both ends of the pressure vessel.
Pipe clamp: A pipe fitting used for fixing pipelines, commonly used in plumbing installation, for fixing pipelines.
Valve: It is a control component in a fluid conveying system that has functions such as cutoff, regulation, diversion, pressure stabilization, diversion, or overflow pressure relief.
Elbow: A commonly used connecting pipe fitting in plumbing installation, used for connecting pipes at bends and changing the direction of the pipeline.
Bend: A complete set of bending molds is used for bending. Regardless of the type of machine equipment and pipeline, most of them use bends, mainly for oil, gas, infusion, and other purposes.
Thread hemp: A commonly used auxiliary product in plumbing installation. When used, it is wrapped around the thread of the pipe fitting to provide a sealing effect and prevent water leakage.
Compensator: Composed of corrugated pipes and end pipes, brackets, flanges, conduits, and other accessories that make up its working body. It belongs to a compensation element.
Dirt remover: prevents impurities in the pipeline medium from entering the transmission equipment or precision parts, causing production failures or affecting product quality.
Reducing pipe: also known as a reducer, is one of the chemical pipe fittings used for connecting two different pipe diameters. It is further divided into concentric and eccentric heads.
Branch pipe platform: also known as branch pipe seat, saddle, or saddle type pipe joint. Reinforced pipe fittings for branch connections, replacing the use of branch connections such as reducing tees, reinforcing plates, and reinforced pipe sections.
Raw material belt: A commonly used auxiliary product in plumbing installation, used at pipe fittings connections to enhance the airtightness of pipeline connections.
Reducing elbow: Changes the diameter of the pipeline when making a 90 degree turn. Large and small heads cannot be used for turning. There are hot push elbows, stamped elbows, and welded elbows.
Blind flange: also known as blind flange, real name is blind flange. It is a connection form of flange, which is actually a flange without a hole in the middle.
Cold drawn tee: A section of main pipe is added with a small branch pipe, two larger sizes are the main pipe, and the small size connected in the middle is the branch pipe.
Welding plug: Block up unnecessary openings in the pipeline to serve as a sealing effect. Same as blind plates, heads, and pipe caps.
